The legendary wooden bridge at Arcola no longer exists, but the modern one sits at the same crossing point.

At the west end of the bridge, on the bank the French held, there is a memorial column.

Much of the impassable marshland that was in the area at the time of the battle has been drained and is now unrecognisable.

32 km (20 miles) east of Verona. 30 minutes drive.
58 km (36 miles) north-east of Mantua. 50 minute drive.
